Ramadan Fundraiser 2021
Thanks to the will of Allah and the generous donations from our Ramadan Fundraiser, the Hayaan team have been able to achieve our goal: to help alleviate some of the hardships faced by the people who need our assistance the most. We get closer to this goal through our integrated efforts in handing food supplies to those in need and also supporting orphans, the disabled as well as victims of natural disasters. This project would not have been a success without your donations.
Food Donations
Thanks to the will of the Allaah and the generosity of 2021's Ramadan Fundraiser donors, impoverished residents received much needed food supplies to support them and their families.
Hayaan began distributing essential food packs in May and they have reached countless families in vulnerable communities.
Abdullahi's Story
Abdullahi Diiriye is a vulnerable, elderly man from the Sool region of Somalia. After he fell on hard times, his eyesight gradually started to deteriorate and unfortunately resulted in complete eye loss. This situation forced him to rely completely on others for his basic needs.

With the generosity of the Ramadan Fundraiser donors and the help of Dariiqa Janada Organisation, Hayaan was able to gift Abdullahi Diiriye the opportunity to undergo cataract surgery so he could regain his vision. Alhamdulilah the surgery was successful and Abdullahi is grateful to the donors for helping him see again and changing his life for the better. We also provided him with $100 to help him get his life back on track.

The Hayaan team are grateful for Dariiqada Janada's support and for providing us with on-the-ground assistance so we could fulfil this project.
Heegaale Flood Relief
Hayaan Organisation were also able to provide assistance and relief in the form of food, water, sanitation and non-food items, with the donations from this years Ramadan Fundraiser, to the victims of the flooding in the Heegaale area of Somalia. The residents and local councils have thanked and made dua for all those who donated.​
Buuhoodle Orphan Support
Eid ul-Fitr 2021 will be a memorable one for many orphans in the Buuhoodle district of Somalia thanks to the generous donations during our Ramadan Fundraiser. Hayaan were able to provide Salama Orphan Centre, which houses and schools over 350 children, with clothes and money.
